Holiday Baking and Fun for the Family

Coffee Cake, Holiday Cookies, and Rudolph Bags–Oh My!

Nothing says "it's the holidays!" like special family time, time off from school, and baking (and sharing) delicious treats.

With the holiday season underway, baking is the perfect activity to get in the holiday spirit with friends and family. We love whipping up our favorite sweets that remind us of Kamp- like coffee cake and cookies!

Check out this step-by-step guide to make baking fun and enjoyable for everyone in the family:

1. Turn on some Christmas tunes that put you in the spirit of the season and have a sing along!

2. Decide on your favorite treat that you would like to bake. Want to make it feel like Kamp? Maybe choose our beloved coffee cake recipe, or homemade holiday cookies with your own little twist

3. Once you have chosen your recipe, split up the steps so that everyone can play a part in the baking activity. Every step is important, so make sure you follow the instructions!

4. After you have put your delicious treats in the oven, find a holiday game to play while the treats bake or go around and share your favorite family vacation or Christmas memory.

5. If you are baking for neighbors or friends, you can also use the baking time to decorate boxes or package the treats in a special way!

6. Once your sweets are ready to take out of the oven, wait until they cool before you eat them! ( The hardest part! )

7. Last but not least, ENJOY! Enjoy your treats with a family holiday movie or deliver some to your friends and neighbors together!

Below are some of our favorite recipes, gift box inspiration, and delicious ways to celebrate this joyful season!
