We’ve all heard the expression “April showers bring May flowers.” Often, there’s hidden truth to common sayings like these. To continue our February of Faith series, Joe White shares wisdom he gained from a difficult time in his life. He uses a powerful visual to illustrate the freedom that comes with giving our worries to Jesus.

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Today, we have an invitation to lay our worries and fears at the foot of the cross – and leave them there! When we give them to Jesus, He promises that He will give us rest in His loving presence.
Today’s Question: In what “pasture” have you laid your worries?
