K-West K-Life 3

K-Life 3 of the term is incredible! As always, we kick it off with a dance party followed by a couple really fun games. We then get to see updates in the ongoing skit by our programs team!

As the night progresses, we sing a few worship songs then get to listen to Jake Triplett, our Programs Director and Men’s Director of Kansas City K-Life, continue in our series through Mark 2. Jake stresses the importance of being a game changer. He uses the acronym “Mr. PIBB” which stands for:

o   I am Proof

o   I have Influence

o   Be Bold

o   Use your Blatform (platform)

Through this acronym he urges staff and Kampers to not only desire to be set apart, but to actually be and act differently than the world. It is one thing to believe truth, but we need courage to apply it.

Jake speaks truth into the hearts and minds of our Kampers by using the passage about the paralytic man in Mark 2, a theme passage for this summer. Kampers were able to walk away feeling both challenged and encouraged in sharing the Gospel.

We continue to be amazed at the work the Lord has done and is continuing to do this summer. We ask for prayers to handle scripture accurately and to love one another as Christ loves us.
