The morning starts like most mornings here at kamp, the kitichies and maintenance up early getting ready for the day.
Campfires at the lake with incredible friends is always a great experience.
Last night was a time of cabin bonding crafts and games followed by some fun questions such as, "If your cabin had a trap door, where would you want it to lead?" We also had some more serious discussion questions such as "What is your favorite quality of God?" Kampers were able to discuss their answers with their cabinmates and counselors.
Kampers were able to roast marshmallows together and make delicious, mouth watering s'mores. Nothing better better than a smiling face covered in chocolate! That was a fun and silly time spent together as cabins.
We ended the night with a time of worship around the fire. The final song said "Set a fire down in my soul that I can't contain that I can't control, I want more of you God." We want that to be the prayer of every Kamper's heart.
During devos, many Kampers decided to give their hearts to the Lord and accept Him as their personal Savior! To celebrate, the Kampers rang the bell, which let's everyone at Kamp know about their decision to follow Christ. Their cabin mates were there cheering them on as the bell rang! Such a great night filled with rejoicing and fellowship.
