A Game Changer Puts Others First

"A Game Changer is someone who is passionate about seeing people come to know Jesus, pointing them toward the cross and setting a Godly example in the way that they live!" –Brittany Ingram, K-Seven Women’s Director

A team’s most valuable players strive to elevate the strengths of their team. These Game Changers recognize not only their own talents, but also the talents of each individual team member. They know how to leverage the abilities of each player in order to successfully make plays and score goals.

Likewise, Game Changers for Jesus help those around them succeed. They consistently look for ways to encourage their friends, family members and teammates, thus pointing them toward Christ. As leaders, they work to out-serve their community and set an example of “I’m Third” in their words, attitudes and actions.

In Phillippians 2:3-4 we’re reminded, “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.”

We are to imitate Jesus by becoming a servant to those around us. In every situation, Game Changers look for the opportunity to lift others up, sharing the gospel with their words and actions. This is how we can truly change the game - by rerouting people’s life journey and pointing them towards a new eternal destination!
