With spring in full bloom, we have the perfect opportunity to pause and appreciate the beauty around us. God has blessed us with the ability to see the sunrise, smell the honeysuckle, feel the cool wind, hear the birds chirping and taste the ripe berries.
All of creation proclaims the majesty of our God. They are proof of His presence among us and His power over us.

At Kanakuk, we enjoy God’s creation surrounding us. From the trees towering over us to the glistening lakes, we spend a lot of time in nature. Kampers and staff alike love to swing from treetops and dive into Scripture at the outdoor chapel. There is one element of creation that we find even more beautiful than nature—humanity.
God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
As humans, we are created in the image of God. How incredible is that?! Every time we spend time around our staff, Kampers and families, we are able to learn more about God and His creativity. It is a beautiful thing to watch people love and forgive one another in a similar way that their Heavenly Father does.
As you and your family celebrate the arrival of spring, we encourage you to appreciate all of God’s creation in new ways, from the flowers to the skies to the people in your life. With each passing day, may we all see more of God’s creativity and love on display through His unique creation.
